Went to the track today for a speed work out which turned out to be more of a pace workout. I did 4x1600m. I hit the first one at 5:30 and just felt real bogged down and tired from a late afternoon lake trip yesterday and a few long nights, so I just decided to go for consistency and what I would call goal HMP. The next three I hit in 5:31 each so that was good. Also my foot has been killing me lately. My PF has really been acting up. I need to see the doc. I would like to go out again today, but I think the smart thing will be to just ice it and stay off it the rest of the day. |
