I finally got my speed workout in today. Did a 2 mile warm up then went right into 3x1600m with an 800m recovery jog in between each interval. My left calf is still really tight so I wasn't able to open up like I wanted to, and my recovery felt a little to long, but it was good with the way my calf felt. My splits were as follows. Mile 1 5:38. Mile 2 5:37. Mile 3 5:31. I was able to open up a little more on that last mile when my calf loosened up a bit. All in all things felt good today.
